PT Doors Menai is a long-established, family-run business with 17+ years’ experience across Sydney. We install, maintain and repair domestic, commercial and industrial garage doors and gates. Who we’re looking for:

A multi-skilled, hands-on tradie with experience in garage doors, construction or related trades. You value safety, do what you say you’ll do, communicate clearly and you’re happy to educate customers so they understand the work.

About the role:

You’ll install and repair roller, sectional and tilt doors, automate gates, and work on commercial roller shutters. You’ll split your time between the field and light office tasks, using basic computer apps to keep jobs moving. Clear customer communication is a big part of the role.

Key responsibilities:

Install, service and repair garage doors, gates and related automation

Deliver quality workmanship to industry and safety standards

Provide excellent customer service and simple, practical education

Work independently using provided tools and equipment

Skills and experience:

Current driver’s licence – manual company vehicle provided

Full Australian working rights

Strong communication and people skills

Good organisation and time management

Basic to intermediate computer skills

Experience servicing and installing garage doors, gates and shutters

Solid background in construction, fitting or mechanical work

Working at heights and WHS understanding preferred

Able to work under pressure, follow instructions and show initiative

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Don’t have garage door experience but are willing to learn?

We’ll consider training for candidates that meet all the other requirements and have strong transferable skills (trades, fitting or mechanical work)
